WDA Lenormand Summit 2025
While I knew that the WDA Lenormand Summit was taking place last weekend, I didn’t plan on attending because I’m not very good with my Lenormand decks. However, my plans for the weekend came adrift and about five minutes before the Summit was about to start, I paid my ticket fee and was speedily added to the group by the vigilant Jane Matthews.
Toni Savoury kicked off the event, setting the scene for what was to follow over the next 2 days. There were lots of hand-outs to download, so I quickly got myself sorted out – and found myself a lovely deck to use (Alexander Daniloff’s Orient Lenormand) from my embarassingly large Lenormand collection.
Now, Lenormand might not be my bag – yet – but I certainly DO know a lot of the Big Names associated with this little European deck. And they were all presenting at the Summit – from organisers Toni and Jane to Donnaleigh and Rana George, with liberal dollops of Serge Pirotte, Bjorn Meuris, Malkiel Dietrich and so many more. In fact, to actually name this lot feels like I am doing a disservice to the others whom I haven’t mentioned – so here’s a full list of the speakers from last weekend.
Many of them I have encountered before either by watching their YouTube channels, being colleagues in the divination world, or via their books and decks.

The sessions that I enjoyed the most (and please bear in mind that I still have NINE to catch up on thanks to the replay facility on the FB lives) were …. Toni’s breakout session on the Sunday where we all got to try reading a box spread (yeah, even me!), Donnaleigh’s session on what health and wellbeing issues the various cards might indicate, Malkiel’s session on card combos for specific toxic relationships and V Von Schweetz ‘Confidence’ session. And Jane’s session that involved numerology. And Paris DeBono’s session that involved BEANS. And Serge’s session. And Rana George read a GT live! And …well, you get the idea. I pretty much enjoyed everything – and still got plenty more to watch!

There were some tech issues – when is there NOT some kind of snafu in live broadcasting though!? But they were quickly straightened out with good grace from everyone.
Conferences are long days – but the advantage of an online event is that you can go and grab yourself a coffee or go a walk and catch up when you get back feeling revitalised. Have you ever sat behind someone at a real life conference who started snoring?! I have lol! Thankfully, the Lenormand Summit videos will be there on Facebook for me to catch up for around 20 days (at time of writing – eventually FB will remove the content).
The WDA Conferences are always extremely well-organised – handouts were all in place, everyone was added to the group (even me, a few minutes before kick off!), there were discounts available on WDA training courses and lots of opportunities to share links and be sociable.
My ticket was (I think) £135.00 – which included a year’s membership of the WDA (worth £20), so I got access to 22 sessions … which breaks back to about £5 per session. AND an opportunity to watch back the sessions as many times as I like before the fb live time limit removes them.
An unexpected effect of the Summit is that I feel quite energised again to work with my divination decks – so thank you for that, everybody!
Summary – a very well-organised summit, with a great mix of well-known and new-to-me speakers. One or two tech issues that were confidently dealt with. Good value for money and would definitely encourage you if you are thinking about going to future Summits. I have two recommendations: Firstly, don’t be anxious about your own level of ability (I have next to nil ability and still enjoyed it very much and learned a LOT). Secondly, take the time to enjoy the sessions by folks you might not be familiar with!
Leaving you with proof of my Lennie collection – my Winter Project is to start using these decks.

What about you? Were you there? Do you have Conference recommendations to share?

Hello Alison,
thank you for your excellent and engaging review of the 2025 Lenormand Summit of the World Divination Association.
Great stuff, that all the activities have inspired you to give the Lenormand System a go. – I love that.
My presentation will be re-done this Thursday (11. September). Unfortunately, my tech issues could not be resolved on the day of my time slot.
Hopefully, The Star-Crossed Lovers may interest you too? I will be speaking and sharing my Grand Tableau of Marie-Antoinette and Count Axel Fersen.
The time will be announced via the WDA.
With friendly greetings from Augsburg, Germany
