I get at LEAST 3 emails a week saying the equivalent of 'bought the Wildwood Tarot deck but the download url isn'T working, please send pdf of lwb'

Mostly there is no 'please' 🤣

Just stop it. Do your due diligence as a buyer. Buy legit decks. If you don't, the whole tarot deck creation matrix will splinter into a billion bits.

Today's tarot court card: The Queen of Pentacles.

Today's tarot court card: The Queen of Pentacles. Ah this is a lovely image to have at Imbolc, the first of the year's fire festivals (I think that ALL the festivals were fire festivals. Can you imagine ancient Celts passing up the chance to have a fire?!) The Queen plays on her bodhran with a long bone. Behind her a hare pauses in its winter white. At her feet snowdrops blossom. The Taurus bull decorates her throne.

Today it's all about music and song - make time for music so that it can work its weird, restorative magic on you. Don't believe me? A 2013 study in the Journal of Positive Psychology found that people who listened to upbeat music could improve their moods and boost their happiness in just two weeks (thank you Google!)

Today's tarot court card: The King of Wands from t

Today's tarot court card: The King of Wands from the Druidcraft Tarot. What can I say about this King, purely from the image? His ears are decorated - we can see them and his head has only a circlet, so he's open hearing and thinking about other people's thoughts and opinions.
His heart area is covered and highly decorated with his collar (salamander biting its tail), so he's not someone who dwells much on keeping good relationships - action is where it's at!
What he holds in his hand is his Wand. His shield is by his side, he has no other obvious weapons. We cannot see the tip of his Wand - he's not much interested in fighting or even defending himself. Although that left hand is a bit of a fist - could be roused to a punch maybe? 😃
As far as his passions go, well, look at that belt tail hanging down his leg and - if that is't enough, look at the marks the edge of the throne makes on his robe between his legs - this guy is PASSION in action. He's got the Aries ram's head decorating his throne - head-strong, fiery and determined.
Although he looks out at us from the card - engaged, passionate and open - he is still inclined towards the past (that right foot pointing left). I feel that he is saying 'Tell me what you want to do! Let's get it done together!'
So that's his message today - what do you really want to do? What is the passion that sets you ALIGHT? Today's the day for embarking on whatever makes you feel alive!
And yeah, damn the consequences - this guy is not looking ahead 😃 You've been warned 😃

Today's tarot card: (forgot to do one yesterday - sorry lol!) Another Princess today, the Princess of Swords. Surrounded by signs of Spring (instagram won't let me resize the card - apologies for cutting the top off her head!), she is a lovely card to draw as we celebrate Imbolc tomorrow.

Barefoot, our young Princess wraps a ribbon around the blade of her sword. The wind whips at the ragged edges of her clothing.

As a 'Page' equivalent, she is about beginnings - small things, minor things, open-hearted approach to life.

As a Sword, her family traits are about head-centred traits - thinking, logic, study, lists, communication, truth etc.

Smooshing these two sets of keywords together we get small thinking, minor communication, beginning study ...

And tomorrow I start wrangling a year-long tarot study course into the Wildwood Tarot (those courts to come next lol!) and I will be surrounded by Princesses of Swords (and a good few Knights, Queens and Kings as well, I hope!)

The Princess says:

Got a big mental task you can't get your head around - break it into small pieces.
Begin a course of study.

today's tarot court card: The King of Pentacles - Fire of Earth - what a perfect guy for me to remind you to DO YOUR TAX RETURN TODAY as they have to be in by the end of the month.

This character is very confident and competent. He's asking you to take a look at your finances today - every penny saved is a penny you don't have to earn! What subscriptions can you renegotiate/cancel? But it's not just about cancelling money obligations - it's about adding savvy ones too.

Went to see #heilung in Glasgow on Sunday night. First gig I've ever gone to on my own in my life.

A mixture of shamanic, ancient and ecstatic sounds and ritual. I absolutely loved it.

Seeing Maria's antlers appear through the smokey stage sent shivers down my spine. The Deer Mother.
